and dental journals, ands everal book chapters. His active researchi nterests include periodontal regenerativet therapy outcomes. His clinical research hasr eceived honors such as the R. Earl RobinsonP eriodontal Regeneration Award and the EBud Tarrson Research Award in Oral PlasticS urgery. Dr. Tatakis serves as Examiner for the American Board of Periodontology serves or has served ont he Editorial Board of several publications,i ncluding the Journal of Clinical Periodontology and the Journal of Periodontology, and lectures nationally and internationally.
