Orofacial Pain Association of the Philippines Announces 15th Annual Conference: "Breaking Bite"
QUEZON CITY, Philippines — The Orofacial Pain Association of the Philippines (OPAP) will convene healthcare professionals and specialists for its milestone 15th Annual Conference on October 18, 2026, at Monet 1, Novotel in Cubao, Quezon City.
Carrying the theme "Breaking Bite: A Decade of Integrating Perspectives in Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain," this year’s symposium marks ten years of advancing multidisciplinary approaches to complex facial, jaw, and neck pain management.
The scientific program runs from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, featuring a distinguished lineup of expert speakers presenting on critical diagnoses and treatment strategies:
Dr. Samuel Grozman — "Taking a Bite Out of Neck Pain: Cervical Spine Disorders that Mimic TMJ Pain"
Dr. Shawn Lee Ji Kwan — "Pain Relief Through Psychological Intervention: Simple Psychological Techniques for Non-Psychologists in Pain Management"
Dr. Axl Cabauatan — "Breaking the Pain Cycle: A Multidisciplinary Approach to TMD and Orofacial Pain"

Following the educational sessions, OPAP will host its formal Induction Ceremony from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, concluding with a Fellowship Night starting at 7:00 PM.
