We have invited 4 speakers for this Scientific Seminar to share their knowledge and skills in the Hema-Onco aspect in the field of dentistry:

An International speaker from London, Dr. Navdeep Kumar, who will tackle about the “Updates on the Dental Management of Patients undergoing Cancer Therapy”, and her “Clinical Case Discussions on the Risk Assessment and Treatment Planning: Medication-related, and Radiotherapy-related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw”.

A representative from the Philippine Prosthodontic Society, Dr. Kimberly Ray R. Fajardo, will discuss the “Considerations in the Prosthodontic Management of Cancer Patients".

A medical doctor from the Philippine Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, Dr. Rico Paolo G. Tee, will be sharing his knowledge in a hematologist’s view, entitled “That Bloody Taste: Caring for the Dental Patient with Hematologic Issues”.

And last, but not the least, our Division’s very own, Dr. Elmer Jesus T. Escoto, to give us an overview of the “Causes and Management of Post-surgical Complications in Hematological Patients”.
