PDA Letter to the BIR

A letter from the office of the PDA President was sent to the BIR requesting a 60 to 90 day extension on the Deadline set by the Bureau for the Compliance on Revenue Regulation 4-2014.

Also indicated in the letter is a request for a dialogue between the PDA and the BIR Commissioner. Please be guided accordingly and monitor the developments.

The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) was founded in Alexandria CA, USA. IADR is a non-profit organization with more than 11,000 members worldwide. This organization aims to advance research and increase knowledge for the improvement of oral health. Its also represent oral health research community and facilitate the communication and application of research findings.

IADR–Southeast Asian (SEA) Division was founded 23 years ago to provide a platform for dental researchers and discuss their research findings. This division is committed to bring the benefits of IADR to all dental researchers and academicians in SEA region through the ‘”Adopt-a-member Program”. Now, the division has grown in strength in terms of its membership and activities and currently have 480 members through out SEA region.

These annual scientific meetings provide opportunities for scientists and researchers to present papers, discuss ideas and to network.The 2014meetings will be jointly hosted by the IADR Malaysian Section, the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) andUniversiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). These meetings not only offer thought-provoking and stimulating scientific programmes, there will also be interesting social and cultural events and fascinating sightseeing tours.

The theme for these meetings is “Community Growth Through Research”.
